Cyprus oasis at Irini gardens is situated a few hundred metres from the picturesque and rural village of peyia its narrow streets and tavernas a 3 mile (5minute)drive through citrus and banana plantations to coral bay and its abundant tourist facilities (2 beaches, watersports, quality hotels, restaurants, tavernas, bars, banks, and shops etc).

Nearby the sea caves at agios georgio sits little harbour and simple restaurant, and on to the akamas nature reserve with its outstanding natural beaches, turtle reserve, hills and wildlife and it's only half an hours drive to the north through spectacular scenery and wineries will bring you to the town of polis and then to the wonderful small fishing village and harbour at latchi (great sea food) .Going southeastward and a short drive will take you to paphos town centre and harbour its bustling markets, shops, and major stores and supermarkets ,tavernas, bars, nightclubs, and hotels. The airport is only 30 minutes drive from the house

The Paphos District

The hillside village of Peyia with its small collection of traditonal tavernas,coffee shops large church with 3supermarkets,banks butchers, bakery fishmongers and pharmacy a perfect base to explore the picturesque mountains monasteries painted byzantine churches and for countless scenic drives through the countryside out into the akamas peninsula a wild and unspoilt region.coral bay is less than 5 minutes away with its sandy blue flag beaches (safe for children) and many water sports including a padi diving shop .coral bay has all the shops restaurants tavernas and lively night life one would expect to find in a large resort .a good bus service runs between paphos,coral bay,and peyia
